What is a Speech Pathologist
A speech pathologists job is to assess and treat people with communication difficulties. These communication difficulties can include:
- Speech sound disorders
- Receptive and expressive language
- Stuttering and Voice
- Reading, Writing and Spelling
- Phonological Awareness
- Reading Comprehension
- Social Skills
