What is a speech pathologist?
A speech pathologists job is to assess and treat people with communication difficulties. These communication difficulties can include:
- Speech sound disorders
- Receptive and expressive language
- Stuttering and Voice
- Reading, Writing and Spelling
- Phonological Awareness
- Reading Comprehension
- Social Skills
Speak About caters for all children, but also those who present with diagnosis’, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Developmental Delays, Dyslexia and various syndromes.
