Medicare
Speak About is a Medicare provider for the ‘Chronic Disease Management’ program, formally known as the Enhanced Primary Care Scheme. This means that for assessment and treatment, part of the fee can be covered by Medicare. This is not means tested, but based on the fact that a client requires chronic and/or complex care for a condition, that may be present for 6 months or more. In order to access this program, a Chronic Disease Management plan needs to be developed in consultation with your child’s GP.
Speak About is able to process Medicare rebates on the spot. For further information, click here.
